NiP drop League of Legends roster

Ninjas in Pyjamas have dropped their League of Legends roster, according to an announcement on social media.

The popular CS:GO organization re-entered the EU LCS with the purchase of Fnatic Academy's seed in May. They initially left the scene after a disappointing 2014 spring split led to their relegation and eventual failure to re-qualify from the Challenger Series.

Sadly the new roster failed to find success in the 2017 EU LCS Summer Split, falling to last place in Group A with a 7-22 game record leading to them losing their slot to Giants Gaming in the 2018 Spring Promotion after a 3-1 loss.

While NiP dropped their lucrative sponsorship deal with Betway in August due to Riot’s restrictions around gambling sponsorships, the organizations picked up where they left off in September with NiP saying their LCS participation agreement had expired.
